Thara Patong Beach Resort & Spa

This hotel is located right next to Patong beach and just a short walk from a shopping mall. The staff members were always friendly to my needs. The cleanliness was spot on, and the amenities offered at this hotel were great.

Didn't dislike anything about the hotel.

The location of the hotel

The hotel was on constraction and it was to noisy, unconffored up earlly in the morning. Its like ur in a workshop. Hope to have more meals for breackfast.

The pool is quite big and kids friendly

The over booking situation was not handled properly and I did not have a room to stay in. they just make shift two sigle bed beside some living room of maybe a family suite and put the beds together beside the kitchennette. i asked for alternative solution and the staff was rather rude and did not try to resolve the problem. manager was also off work not of any help. i am so disappointed with this hotel.

Excellent location, great pool, lovely rooms, helpful staff, close to beach, excellent facilities.

People at hotel were very friendly

There were several things which I did not like about the hotel, the first and the most important was that I paid them double. As they have deducted the amount from my credit card and I was surprised when doing check out the lady of the recipient asking me to pay again by cash while they have taken complete amount from my credit card, I have shown them bank statement clearly showing the amount been taken by Thara Patong Beach Resort and no use. Finally I was forced to pay by cash. After sending some emails they have confirmed that the amount been taken by them from my credit card and they promised to return the money back to my credit card which never happened Second Toilet has window on the room which mean all toilet smell spread on the room

no english movies after 6pm

This resort is in a fantastic location, just a short walk to Patong beach and a shopping mall. the rooms are clean and comfortable, with a nice veranda to relax on. the breakfast buffet offers a wide range of delicious food and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Plus, the resort has a great swimming pool and offers tasty dinners with nightly entertainment.

The efficiency of the check-in process could be improved.

Dear Bryan, Following our conversation, I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to the staff at Thara Patong Beach Resort & Spa. Their friendly attitude and ethics made my recent two week stay all the more pleasant and memorable. I would like to make particular mention to the lady and gentleman working in La Piazza Restaurant. One evening, near the end of my stay, I tripped and injured my toe near the restaurant. They both quickly came to my assistance and immediately administered first aid, even though my wound was not a pretty sight. The following night, the same lady even offered to change my dressing before my long flight home. I gratefully accepted the offer and after a clean dressing was applied for the second time, I expressed my gratitude both verbally and monetary. The latter was politely declined, which in itself only deepens the level of thoughtfulness and care that was shown to me on both occasions. I can assure you that I am not accident prone, but I would also like to thank the lady working in the Palm Bar who also applied first aid to a cut to my hand during my first week. In addition my thanks go out to Raj, SomSung, Hahnee, Santi, housekeeping and all the other staff who made my stay at Thara Patong a happy one, and thanks to my 'doctors', a safe one. Leaving Patong was not quite as hard as leaving you all. Bryan, I would be most appreciative, if you would convey this message to all concerned with a special thanks for a job not only done well, but above and beyond the call of duty. I enjoyed my stay and appreciate the free upgrade to a better room. Also I loved the pool with its water spouting elephant that's excellent for a back massage :)

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located very close to the beach and I loved being able to walk to the water whenever I wanted. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, even though their English wasn't perfect. The room I stayed in was large and comfortable, and I appreciated the amenities such as air conditioning and a balcony. The hotel also had a great swimming pool, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The spa and wellness center on-site was a fantastic addition and allowed me to truly unwind during my stay. I had a fantastic time at this hotel and would highly recommend it to family and friends.

The hotel dirty and staff not friendly At night you feel frayed from darkness

The location , design and service is just perfect.The road does not share the territory of the hotel and the beach. The hotel location is very good - 5 minute walk to the shopping center Jungceylon Shopping Mall and to the center of nightlife - 1 minute walk. We will definitely come to this hotel again.

The only downside is very noisy - around parked pink bus-bar, which starts in the evening, with very loud music playing until 4-5 am, so you can not sleep.

Great breakfast variety and good quality coffee! The fitness center was a nice surprise, has a good amount of equipment. The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants and shops, which is great when you have a busy schedule. Location in the city center was very convenient.

The rooms didn't have enough light, making it difficult to work at night. Housekeeping was inconsistent, the floor was not cleaned every day.

Good location, clean room, clean bathroom.....nothing more, so...just an eu standard!

Too expensive, not reasonable for provided facilities, breakfasts were so....bad that I eat in the small bar 50 meteres outside the tp hotel having payed tp breakfasts!
